The new Sailor Moon anime is making me ship Usagi x Mamoru even more than I originally did. I can’t wait to see their relationship develop.

Growing up with Usagi as a role-model gave me unrealistic expectations about what makes a person “good” or “kind”. In writing “The Idiot” Dostoevsky tried to create the perfect messianic character but in reading the book I thought he had failed. Only years later did I realize why my standards were so high: I grew up with Sailor Moon and Usagi’s idealism, kindness, selflessness, innocence and loving nature stuck to me as qualities a “good” human being should have…

I feel like Momoiro Clover Z ruined Moon Revenge by making it sound too overly dramatic and chipper.

I love the way the Senshi are drawn in the manga. They seem so elegant and fairy-like, especially in the dream arc with their long bows and transparent sleeves.

I already prefer the manga and newer anime compared to the 90s one. The manga had such beautiful art and crystal is sticking too the original manga already,Not to mention it has more better animation and thank god they won’t add useless plot holes and make characters into something they weren’t like the 90s anime did.

I kinda like that every senshi looks the same apart from colouring and hairstyle. That way, everyone can find one (or more) senshi to identify with no matter how she looks but based on her personality. I know it isn’t ideal but I prefer it.

The only old dub voice actor that I want to actually come back is Stephanie Beard, the second voice of Chibiusa (Rini).

I feel like people are way too harsh on the Sailor Starlights. If your entire planet got destroyed and you failed to protect the one person you had sworn your life to, you’d probably be a little bitter too.

I feel like I’m one of the few people who isn’t bothered by the fact that season 1 of the redub will be split into two volumes for its DVD/Blu-ray release. As far as I’ve seen, that’s actually fairly standard procedure for a season with a certain number of episodes.
